The Annual Rotary Club Swimathon 2018

The Salisbury Rotary Club and the Salisbury Journal invite you to join them for their Annual Swimathon which will take place at the Godolphin School on Saturday 7th April 2018.

Over the last 13 years we have raised over £140,000 for local charities throughout the district.

The aim is to swim as many 25m lengths as possible in the allotted 55 minutes.  You will be working as a team, sponsored on how many lengths you complete collectively (not on your individual total). Each team will consist of up to 8 (maximum) members swimming continuously for the entire period, with only one member of the team swimming at any one time.

There are no hard and fast rules as to how this can be done, some may want to swim in relay, others may wish to split the time up and assign a time slot to each team member. Sharing the time means that no one individual should have to swim too hard, so please ensure that inexperienced or out of condition swimmers do not exceed their capacity!
