The Annual Rotary Club Swimathon

This is your opportunity to swim in the Godolphin School Pool and raise much needed funds for our chosen charities, as well as maintaining your level of fitness.

The aim is to swim as many 25m lengths as possible in the allotted 55 minutes.  You will be working as a team, sponsored on how many lengths you complete collectively (not on your individual total). Each team will consist of up to 8 (maximum) members swimming continuously for the entire period, with only one member of the team swimming at any one time.

There are no hard and fast rules as to how this can be done, some may want to swim in relay, others may wish to split the time up and assign a time slot to each team member. Sharing the time means that no one individual should have to swim too hard, so please ensure that inexperienced or out of condition swimmers do not exceed their capacity!
