Nick is a Consultant Marine Accident Investigator. An Extra Master Mariner, he has 27 years sea experience, including 22 with the British Antarctic Survey where he commanded the Royal Research Ship, James Clark Ross. As the former Technical Officer and current General Secretary for the Marine Accident Investigators’ International Forum (MAIIF) he remains at the forefront of and influential in developments in the field.
